I actually have everything I could want here...mountains with snow, beaches, desert, pine forests, lakes, metro areas, rural areas, ghost towns, 24 hour shopping, Christmas and summer, what's not to like? No cedar forest solitude in the soft cool misty rain?

Sure! Nevada is full of cedar forests. Remember we have the Sierras to the west of us, if we want bigger, we just have to drive to Kingman and see the beginning of the Rockies.
