I rather like my senator. Dr. Coburn is pretty awesome and NO-ONE better speak of throwing him out in my presence! If you have problems with your own politicians, that that's your problem because you elected but don't go painting with such a broad brush as to splay any paint on the good doctor.

If the good doctor has been in office for more than 1 term then he has been there too long. The problem is that they all have to go so that no one winds up as a power center because of longevity. I like my Senator but wold vote her out during a primary for a different republican. I am not advocating a change in party makeup just in faces.

At this point I would vote for my mailman if he ran as a republican. We have got to get the entrenched politicos out and send a message that we are in charge and that Washington works for us, not the other way around.

Maybe a good way to start is at the local level, City councils and Mayors, County Commissioners, School Board Members etc. As it shows that it is working (and it will) move up the food chain to state government util we reach the Feds and pull them off their high horses and laugh as they realize they can't work at a real job.

It is interesting to note that since John Edwards left the senate he has done nothing but campaign. What has Algore done since leaving and losing? What would Kennedy do if he were not a Senator? (No answer to that one this is not an R rated forum).
