No you emmulate windows by providing a compatible API framework for the app to talk to. You're as clueless as these punk kids apparently, probably not much older.

Again. Wine Is NOT an Emulator.

VMware, BasiliskII (68k Mac), PearPC (current PowerPC), SheepShaver (early PowerPC), and QEMU are emulators--they contain hardware simulation (including the appropriate processors) as well.

Wine only provides enough of an implementation to run Windows executables and programs on Linux. There isn't any hardware simulation in Wine.
