I'm afraid that Dan Brown and Hollywood might come up with a sequel to "The Da Vinci Code" called "The Opus Dei After."

I'm bored sideways by the Da Vinci uproar. Hate to tell you this but it was announced today that Ho'wood is going to make a film about his other title, Angels and Demons.

Money's money and that's all they care about. So the Dan Brown parade isn't likely to end any time soon.

Didn't read the book and didn't/don't plan on going to the movie.

Opie Dei---Anybody Else BORED by "The Da Vinci Code"

No, because I don't even know what is it and I dont want to know.

However, I am getting bored with discussions about it!

Am I the ONLY one completely BORED to death by all this talk about The Da Vinci Code?

No, you're not. The media coverage of this FICTIONAL movie reminds me of this. It's the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over......

No PJ, you are not alone. I'd rather talk about the man/bear/pig. I know more Opus Dei members than Opie does and I like them much better.

Yes. I just change the chanel - another good reason to forget TV.

Someone loaned me the book. I read it. The book was boring too, but I wanted to see what it was about.

The DaVinci code is so oversold that it is outrageous. They have taken over my history channel yet again. How many frickin times can they rerun these shows...

I read the book, it was a cheap detective novel ripped off from the delusional holy blood holy grail that I read as a child. Any law and order CI is more entertaining..

This is becoming a fad, like bell bottom pants and long hair, only more annoying.

What a pain in the arse. Nitwits who never gave a spit about Christianity are now Biblical scholars, ruining my teevee so I can see dozens of otherwise unemployed experts pontificate about a speculation of a hypothesis that has no documented basis.

I hate mystics and conspiracy theorists, they are boring.

I struggled through twenty or thirty pages of the book. It was boring. The movie was sure to be worse.

The following comments are my judgments. Other people may disagree; they are just exercising their right to be wrong.

Today's Hollywood movies are made by homosexuals for homosexuals. They are unlikely to entertain anyone else.

There must be good people who could make good movies; but they do not work for the major Hollywood flick factories; and the way the film distribution system works now means those movies will not appear in our local theaters.
