if you got far enough south.

I grew up in extreme South Texas and black people were rare to nonexistant. I guess I always assumed the Brown Sugar of Stone's fame was the same Brown Sugar we knew...although the Brown Hornet of Fat Albert fame should have been a giveaway. :)

I once visited a g/f's family in Edinburg, TX. It was a totally different part of the south than what I was used to. I'd forgotten about the Brown Hornet. Hey, hey, hey!
