Talking about that NBC guy, there was a reporter covering this story for the Houston CHronicle that put in rather large letters that Barbaro would be destroyed if he could not be a stallion. I KNEW it was wrong when I read it because his owners would not do that.

Not everybody is sentimental about horses. If Barbaro didn't have potential value as a stud, it seems unlikely that this great effort and expense would be put forth.

You need to read what his owners said. It does not matter. As long as he is healthy and happy and in no pain, they want him at their farm.
