Most likely those are some style of Uggs.
They've been a very popular boot that last couple winter seasons. However, I don't know why that woman would be wearing a pair now. They're warm boots to be worn in colder temps.
I'm guessing she was barefoot when she heard the crash and jumped into the closest footwear as she ran out the door. Either that or I'm, as usual, way behind in my fashion sense!
