Authorities are trying to determine why a 1993 Ferrari Testarossa crashed and overturned this afternoon near Agoura Hills, killing two people.
CHP Officer Leland Tang says there weren't any witnesses and the details aren't known.
The crash occurred shortly after 3:20 Tuesday afternoon on Cornell Road, near Muholland Drive.
Evidence at the scene indicated that one of the men killed in the crash may have been an off-duty CHP officer, sheriff's Lt. Phil Brooks told the Los Angeles Times.
Lt. Richard Hanna of the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner said early this morning that there was a "security hold" on the case and the names or ages of the two men would not be immediately released.
Actress Morgan Brittany of "Dallas" heard the crash.
"I heard it coming. I heard the engine revving high, Brittany said. "I just braced myself" and hoped there was no one coming the other way.
The victims' identities have not been released.

Evidence at the scene indicated that one of the men killed in the crash ... A wallet perhaps? Because there wasn't enough of the body to ID? I can't imagine what rescue workers go through combing the surrounding area for body parts. So much for that lunch I just ate.

Bet they are going to spend a fortune doing an accident reconstructionOh, that's not that bad. That should buff right out. A little rubbing compound and some elbow grease and it'll be as good as new.
