I asked you about the impact of your views on peoples' rights & you ignored me...

I did not ignore you. I said I was exercising my right to petition our local government to ban pitbulls and other vicious breeds. And, I will add, I have been successful in that for the last four months our city staff has been defining exactly what breeds will be banned within the city limits and also the exact language of the ordinance.

And when that ordinance comes up for a vote, which it will, it will be 5 to 0 in favor of the ban. Most will cheer, a few will bemoan not being allowed to have a pitbull (and other breeds) within the city limits.

What else did you want to know about rights my view of your rights? You have the right to petition your government too. In fact, I dare you to bring it up in the city where you live. Ask you city council to take action to make sure pitbulls are never banned in your city.

Let me know how it comes out.

No doubt, if you're posting from communist China...

Help Find New Homes for China's Unwanted Dogs

Imagine being told you have ten days to get rid of your dog, simply because it’s too big.

Banned in their home country of China simply for their size, Collies, Terriers, Australian Shepherds, Dalmatians, Saint Bernards, and even Irish Setters are just some of the dog breeds outlawed in Beijing. Once illegal dogs are seized, they are often abandoned by their owners who simply buy new ones....more

So where are you posting from?
Or is it just a BS story?

After searching the The city council records of Palos Verdes Estates
back to June 2005 and then double checking the records from this year,
I find no mention of any public hearings, no staff reports, no agenda items and...
no communications from the public regarding any matter involving dogs.

Please explain this contradiction or I will be forced to make an assumption about you.

Sounds like a nice place...

The City of Palos Verdes Estates is often described as an oasis within Los Angeles County. Sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean coupled with abundant naturally preserved open spaces translate into a community where residents find rest and solace from the urban environment beyond City borders. In a region of the country known for its concrete jungle and desert climate, the lush open spaces of Palos Verdes Estates are truly a treasure.
Do you have much trouble with dogs attacks?
Search engines show nothing.
