I've owned a German Shepard-Doberman mix and my last dog was part Malamute, Chow and Wolf. I don't own a pit bull for the same reason I don't own a Chihuaua. They're ugly little b@stards and you can't trust them.

Personally, I wouldn't want any of the dogs you've described and, in fact, haven't owned a dog of any kind for over 40 years*.
The point is:
Do we extend this same right of free choice to others; provided they're prepared to assume proper responsibility/accountability for any negative consequences of their choices while doing whatever is reasonably necessary to avoid any problems?
If so, we're authentic philosophical conservatives and standing with both all who opt for choices we may not personally agree with as well as with the 99+% of owners of all breeds/types of dogs who never cause anyone any trouble whatsoever.
I really can't understand what these statist control-freaks' problem is?
Plus, it's not as if any of the 'pit bull' fanciers on this thread have advocated doing anything other than throwing the literal book at irresponsible dog-owners of any breed/type.
* ... but maybe, once we're retired & even though I know numerous very well-behaved 'pit bull' type dogs, a Golden Lab?
Until then, given our free choice, we'll opt for cats!
