Tokyo, November 2, 1974: Two players who would finish their careers with a combined total of 1,623 home runs meet for a batting showdown at Korakuen Stadium. Hank Aaron of the Braves, left, broke Babe Ruth's career record earlier in the year, and would bring his total to 755 before retiring. Japanese star Sadaharu Oh, right, ended up with 868. With them is Brent Musburger of CBS, which sponsored the home run contest that Aaron won, 10-9. It was also Aaron's last appearance as an active player in the uniform of the team with which he started in Boston and moved to Milwaukee and Atlanta; he was traded to the Brewers the next day.I'd bet Bonds would dwarf both of them, but not in skill.

(Marines out of uniform might as well be nude, since they can no longer be recognized as Marines.)

(As the Democrat Party becomes more evil, the GOP becomes more stupid. What's a voter to do?)
