To all fellow FReeper Sopranos fans: Has The Sopranos officially jumped the shark? I am waiting with baited breath that tonights episode isn't another delve into BrokeBack Mafia-ism. Enought about Vito already. What happened to the groundbreaking series that we all fell in love with? Noone wants to see or hear what Vito has been doing with his cannoli. Any thoughts?
I love him too. Tonights episode was good. More like the old Soprano's.
It wasn't that hard to predict. Best episode of the year so hopefully they'll turn it around. I loved the part when Tony pointed out Paris to Carm on the television when the Germans were marching through it.
He didn't even bat and eyelash in front of his widow. He is heartless.
And, while I want to see Paulie get whacked, I want Chris-tu-fuh to survive.
Tony should whack AJ, along the lines of "I brought you into the world and I can take you out!"
It was definetly one of the best of the season. The crying frenchman, "look I found Cossette", Tony getting tough with AJ, the busting balls scene, "Tone, you donwanna come in here right now", and finally Phil hits a homorun.
I have a feeling that AJ will die in the final episode.
I think that Christopher's pain and guilt over Adrianna is going to play a very big part in how this all ends. There have been quite a few times already where he has shown how much he misses her and that, while he hasn't said so yet, he blames Tony for what happened (even though he was the one who handed her over). You're right though, of all the characters on the show that are in "the family", Christoper is the one I want to see left standing the most.
Another thought. I never realized how much I liked Adrianna. Maybe her being gone is why I haven't enjoyed this season as much as previous ones. Last night's epidsode was classic though. Looks like a very big war between NJ and NY is about to start.
Phil Leotardo = pure evil
Certainly AJ had his "Fredo moment" a few weeks ago.
My buddy swore last week that if Vito wasn't whacked he was going to cancel his subscription. He won't have to.
Adrianna was one of the only really likable characters on the show. She was a good person at heart, but was naive. Just like we need a good villian (Ritchie Aprile) we need somebody to like and root for, plus she was hot in that trashy Jersey sort of way.
I think its a testament to just how great this show has been when you just look at how many highly entertaining characters have died, been killed, or just disappeared. It still, for the most part, hasn't missed a beat.
Adrianna
Richie Aprile
Ralph Cifaretto
Big Pussy
Tony B.
Jackie Jr. (not likeable at all, but his complete stupidity was very entertaining)
Gloria Trillo
Furio
and of course, Livia
Which reminds me. I wonder if we will ever be hearing from Furio again. They never said that anyone ever found him, only that he ran away to Italy.
Maybe New York will bring Furio into the War with Jersey? Or maybe Tony will bring him back?
That would be a nice twist to things.
I can't believe we have to wait two weeks for the next episode, and another six months for the final eight.
Damn you, David Chase.
He is my favorite character.
I'm just happy they moved the storyline along.
I think he got his message through to him.
That would be a stunner.
