honestly why should they be hated? this is the united states of America they have freedom of speech all they did a few years back was say what was on many peoples mind and they had a right to people don't hate them because they are playing victims they hate them because they are ballsy. i stand by Natalie 100% don't compare them to other artists because they aren't other artists. and don't be mad that they stood up for what they believe in because they should infact i would be rather disappointed with them if they would have just let it go and that is rather immature that listeners would be upset that they had an opinion just because they sing professionally doesn't mean that they don't have an opinion and they have every right to express it just like you and myself at ANY time. They did nothing wrong.
