Ah, memories. When I was in college I would go with friends to a bar that would fill up an opened quart milk container with Genny Cream and sell it for a buck. It was terrible but cheap and after the first one you didn't care about the taste.

I used to refer to the after effect as the next day Genessee Rocket (explitive for poop).

Seemed like that follow on in the morning was a toilet filler. I don't know today's low use of water can take a hard night of Genny.

We use to drive from the suburbs of Detroit over to Canada to buy that stuff by the case when we were in high school. Sneak it back across the border and then sell it high enough to pay for our own beer. Back then flavor wasn't exactly the most important thing, telling the girls how you sneaked it past the customs and border guards just for them to enjoy was.

One time I went camping with some friends at a cabin in upstate NY. We arrived at 6 am, the closest stores weren't open yet for supplies. Luckily, in the shed we found an old case of Genny Cream Ale. My buddy said it had been there ~ 5 years before when he had been there. We drank it. It was bad.
