This story apparently passed unnoticed. WCBS in NY is trying to resurrect it, just to make sure the target demographic gets it, I suppose.
File this under vain, idiotic, corporate "activism." Which is something that corporations oughtn't waste resources on.

That's no small matter; the company serves about 300,000 eggs a year to about 6,000 employees a year They should worry about their health plan if they're serving that much cholesterol. :-)

'Activism' is trying to make other people conform; making decisions about what they're going to do internally, on the other hand, is merely policy. They have the same right to do it as restaurants do to permit or prohibit smoking.
