Carrying on with my rant:
The new mantra is : "I never saw the Cecil B. DeMille movie "The Bible" because I read the book".
Is this how we are going to go bravely into the 21st century?

I think to say The Passion opened debate ABOUT religion would be true. The Code is Slanderous. It is an Anti-Christian Movie. And the Author LIES about the "Facts".
To have debate the arguments should be based on what the truth and facts are. Interpretation can always be debated. But how do you debate a liar? It is a waste of time. And we have people out there that don't know enough to know it is a lie. I don't see how this is a good thing. And some pseudo-Christians will go from not understanding Christianity to hating it because of what they are told to believe in this movie.
I loved the movie National Treasure. It mixed enough history with fantasy to make it fun. The Code could possibly have done the same, but I can not get over the deceit and dishonesty.
Why does the Author, and now Opie, feel compelled to lie to us? What is the goal? And for who's glory?
