I would never carry such a young baby without using both hands. One hand around their body and one to support their head. Those floppy little heads need support until they're well over one year.

Have you ever actually met a baby? And if you have got kids, how did you cook, talk on the phone, pay the bills, dress another kid, go to the bathroom, or do anything else for that matter if you were using two hands at all times to hold your kid until he/she was a year old?

Set them nearby on the floor or a baby seat. Use the bathroom holding a baby? That's a new one for me - can't say I ever tried that one! :)
