Oh, for heaven's sake. I'm no fan of Britney, but tripping isn't abuse. They don't seem to be suggesting she was drunk or drugged. I fell while holding a baby about that age, and a glass, while celebrating the 2004 election around noon on the day after. Saved the glass and the baby from hitting the ground, but I sprained my ankle and scraped my shin.

My mother-in-law actually tripped on a stairway and fell while holding one of her babies. Thankfully neither of them were hurt seriously.
