I just emailed the WRAL reporterette. It'll be interesting to see what she says...
Ms. Buscher,
On May 11, you reported that tests had been made to detect the presence of a date rapd drug in the complaining witness:

Alleged Victim Was Tested At Hospital For Date-Rape Drug

DURHAM, N.C. -- An exotic dancer who says she was gang-raped and beaten at a Duke lacrosse team party where she was hired to perform was given a test at a hospital to determine if she had a date-rape drug in her system, WRAL has learned.
The accuser, a 27-year-old single mother and student at North Carolina Central University, was treated shortly after the alleged attack on the morning of March 14 at Duke University Medical Center, according to court documents.
Legal experts said such a test is often performed at the request of a police officer. The results of that test, however, have not been made public.
Today WTVD Durham reported this story:

(05/22/06 - DURHAM) - There are new developments in the Duke lacrosse rape investigation. Defense lawyers say they didn't get everything they wanted, when a box full of evidence was handed over.
In particular they're asking for a toxicology report that might have been performed on the accuser the night she was allegedly raped.
Last week, Nifong handed over the evidence in his case against Duke lacrosse player Reade Seligmann. That evidence included almost 1,300 pages, two VHS tapes and a CD ROM with photos on it.
In two motions filed by Defense Attorney, Kirk Osborn, we're learning what was not included in that evidence.
Osborn is asking for any and all toxicology reports from tests done on the accuser when she was examined at Duke University Hospital the night of the alleged rape.
Osborn cites a Newsweek article in which Nifong, "hinted that blood and urine tests of the accuser would reveal the presence of a date-rape drug" as the basis for his request.
Former prosecutor, Karl Knudsen say toxicology results can be back within hours and says it's strange that a test that would've been done two months ago isn't included in the evidence.
Knudson says we can't know from the motion whether a toxicology test was definitely conducted on the accuser, but he says the motion isn't good news for the district attorney's case. "Either way you look at it, either it didn't exist and it was irresponsible to even hint at it, or it does exists and it hasn't been closed, and it would seem to me that's as problematic too."
Defense attorneys have said the accuser was intoxicated when she arrived at the Buchanan Boulevard party.
The so-called second dancer, Kim Roberts, has said the accuser didn't appear drunk when she arrived, but stumbled as she left.
Defense attorneys are also requesting complete cell phone records from the accuser's cell phone.
So was a tox test done? Or has Nifong lied?
Great email! Hope you get a response.
No condoms-Nifong lied
No date rape drug-Nifong lied
First DNA MUST have showed boyfriend's semen in SBI test--Nifong didn't disclose?
Shouldn't there be grounds for prosecutorial misconduct here? Or does NC not have laws against that either?
I will be surprised if you get a reply that is in any way informative. This flies in the face of the agenda of the news media. It will be hard for one of them to acknowledge that there are lies floating around from the false accuser and her backers.
Well Done!!!
Good job!
I have been re-reading those reports about a supposed date rape drug. All of them seem to mention or hint at the tests that were done, the implication being that the results will not be favorable for the LAX players.
Now we have magical disappearing toxicology reports to add to the list of weird stuff in this "case".
