So if I'm remembering right Nifong is on public record, after the first DNA test, saying that the reason that test failed to find lax team member DNA is that they could have worn condoms. All that time he had in his possession the SANE report in which Crystal said they didn't. I guess now he's going to claim that she could not have known that one way or the other.
She must be lying about the sex with boyfriend too to the Sane nurse. Otherwise he wouldn't be swapped till May 3rd.
Yes, he said he believed it likely that condoms were used, because who wouldn't when dealing with a stripper ... or something equally unkind re his "victim".
And also, at the infamous NCCU forum he had some little ditty about "absence of __, doesn't mean presence of___, which struck me as inane at the time.
NiFong probably hasn't read the SANE report yet.....

Based on the SANE report and/or Crystal's statement, Nifong knew from the beginning that the "rapists" didn't use condoms. That may be why he was so sure that the first round of DNA test results would "clear the innocent."
But interesting here is that Nifong suggested that the boys might have worn condoms in an interview "last month" i.e., March. IOW, *before* he got the results of the DNA test results.
So Nifong was talking out of both sides of his mouth from the start. And it also indicates that Nifong didn't believe everything Crystal said. He wasn't sure that the "rapists" weren't wearing condoms.
