I too suspect that the "drivers" are PIMPS; however, that is what they were called on H&C.

They're called "drivers" in North Carolina because the state requires a class "p" operator's license in order to transport whores. A prospective driver must demonstrate proper knowledge of "pimping his ride" and how to succesfully navigate traffic while "all the b!tches talkin' sh!t."
