I read it about a year ago. Truthfully, it made so little an impression, I couldn't remember who Brown revealed as the descendants of Magdalene and Jesus. I pulled it out this morning to refresh my memory.

Read 'Holy Blood Holy Grail' some years ago. About as insipid as most books on the subject.
You either have Christ in your heart or you don't. Anything anyone else says or does does not matter.

I know the feeling. My wife gave me DaVinci Code and whatever the next one was that he wrote, back when the hooplah was just starting about the DaVinci Code. I read both of them, and can barely remember anything about them. I remember somebody parachuting into the Vatican or something. All in all, the books were unremarkable. I don't even remember the albino assassin that this post refers to.

Personally, I think Dan Brown's writing is as bland as hospital food. As a kid, I read comic books that were better. At least I can recall the story line, characters, etc... from those comics. Personally, I'll take a pass on purchasing any of his future books, even if I find them priced at a quarter at a yard sale.
