It's not really that easy to get phone records. Nifong knows that what is found there will not be helpful to his case. Her phone records are the electronic equivalent of her trick book.
The last thing he would want is the truth to come out.
This way he can look at the Court and say, " I don't have it your Honor".

What was all that stuff about her $300 cell phone then? Not her's apparently. Maybe wanted to get paid for its loss? I have a new bluetooth razor and it was about $100 with sign up. Cancelling is very interesting.
