We think that Finnerty can prove that he wasn't there at all but they want Nifong to commit to a timeline first. If one of the IDed attackers wasn't there then her IDs of the other two are shot. Nifong is getting beat up in the press so badly right now it seems that he would cough up at least "I have additional evidence" if he had ANYTHING at all. I am skeptical about the press knowing something and not telling though---if you can reveal items of national security why would you keep quiet about this?
i was hoping that's why Finnerty's lawyer was playing it so close to the vest. Nifong deserves nothing less than total annihilation.
