"Who's wedding was it at Canaan? In those days, the groom was responsible for the wine. Why would Mary turn to Jesus and say we are out of wine?"

John 2:1 On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, 2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3 When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine." 4 "Woman, [a] why do you involve me?" Jesus replied. "My hour has not yet come." 5 His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."

If the wedding was Jesus', then why did Jesus invite himself?

If the groom was responsible for the wine, then why did Jesus question Mary's making him responsible?

Why would Mary ask Jesus in the first place.

My point is the ones being married are not mentioned, yet Jesus must have known them as well as if not more than the Disciples.

Again... I do not believe Jesus was the one Married, or the marriage would have been mentioned as would the fact Jesus had a wife.

I love that account. As a son - I find it interesting that Mom had to give HER son a little push. I know my mom had more confidence in me than I did sometimes.
