GUNFIRE AT WAFFLE HOUSE AFTER WHITES, HISPANICS ARGUE OVER CITIZENSHIP
A parting gunshot from a vehicle leaving Waffle House in West Asheville, NC shattered a window and caused a minor injury, police said.
The shooting happened around 3:00 a.m. Saturday after a group of whites argued with a group of Hispanics at the 24-hour restaurant on Smokey Park Highway, Asheville police Lt. Wallace Welch said
“The two groups were jawing back and forth with each other over citizenship issues and whatnot,” Welch said.
As the Hispanic group drove off, someone in the vehicle fired at least once into a large window near the front door, he said.
Whether from a ricocheted bullet or flying glass, Welch said, one man’s arm was bleeding when police arrived.
Police were looking for a white Dodge Intrepid that left the restaurant going west.
The CITIZEN-TIMES newspaper first reported the incident, and is currently streaming the 9-11 calls from the Waffle House on its website.

Ah, so they were Americans (of hispanic descent). Well, that would explain their views. The scenario you've painted happens frequently in lower socioeconomic circles. That's why all this "us vs. them" coming civil/race war talk isn't as black & white/cut & dried as some would make it out to be.

The operative question is "What's it going to take?" Obviously, border patrolmen being shot at hasn't spurred any action; Sheriff Flores' men in Webb County have been BEGGING for help in the face of being shot at and nothing's happened. What's it going to take?

I don't know. When you see some of the stupid threads on the main board, it makes no sense. Sometimes I think the mods do it just to show you they can. Other times I think they over react and, of course, they wouldn't want to admit it.
Just an observation, but if you avoid putting something in Breaking News and just put it out there as News, they tend to leave you alone. And, if it really is Breaking News, they will put it there. Most certainly, they do appear arbitrary sometimes.

I also guess you've been missing the 25,000 dead shredded aborted babies per week all thru GWB's terms.
GWB is trying to look like he's doing something about illegal immigration now only because he has no choice. Citizens have had to force and leverage GWB into at least looking like he's doing something about illegals. GWB resisted every step of the way.
The million+/year babies being shredded to death still isn't being touched by GWB.

Just the Mexican inmates ? Or can we offload all the American non-violent offenders as well ? Or even the violent ones ? Maybe not without a fence in place first.
Can we just sentence all new convicted felons to live in Mexico ? Or would that be cruel and unusual punishment ?
