Film review and approval worked well here in the U. S. A. when I was growing up and the Catholic Church's Legion of Decency helped guide the parents of "young minds full of mush."

All that, of course, has gone by the wayside and today anything goes including anti-Christian books, lecturers and movies.

"All that, of course, has gone by the wayside."

If you don't like something, then don't go. Start a boycott against the company. Write letters to the editior. Support films, books, or speakers that you do like. But don't try to get things banned. I don't like the idea that we somehow have a right to go through life without being offended. Censorship might sound nice to you at the moment, but I can promise you it isn't. It won't only be the films and books you don't like that would get censored if we had an aggresive censorship regime. Eventually some ideas you support would find themselves censored. It is a very slipperly slope.
