..remembering when Congressman Tom Tancredo was telling anyone who would listen about the 'GROWING" illegal immigration problem in this country. Every politician fluffed him off like a trouble maker no one pay any attention to him. For years he warned and pointed to the ever increasing numbers.....but they just wouldn't listen
For years they ignored him, for years they ignored doing anything about it.
Now we watch the horse and pony show, NOW the politico's do the ole two-step. NOW they say it's grown TOO BIG TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT....6 years ago it was guesstamated maybe 1.5 to 2 million. Now it's anywhere from 11 to 13 million.
Everyone in the House and Senate owns a sincere apology to Congressman Tom Tancredo. They own us all an apology FOR NOT DOING THEIR SWORN DUTY!!

But if the President thinks by taking one step forward with enforcement the House will follow him two steps backwards with amnesty, hes confusing us with the Senate. Nice, right between the eyes.

I tell ya something;
We Conservatives need to get Tancredo on the ballet for President. If we cannot, we need to all do a write in for him on our ballots. Wouldn't you just love to see a President elected that way? Man O'man, I'd jump for joy to see a man of Tancredo's ilk protecting the liberty and sovereignty of the USA.

The government has chosen to limit the National Guard to a supporting role, but that will allow the Border Patrol to do its jobstopping illegal aliens from breaking our laws.
When they say "supporting role", what exactly does that mean? Will they be doing basically what the Minutemen are doing? Is this just a roos to make us all think the gov't is doing something, when really it's nothing at all?
I am very thankful someone in the GOP is standing up and speaking out about this hogwash. Thank you Tancredo. And bless you.

Bets on when the Tancredo Trashers will come into this thread and start smearing Conservative Republican Tom Tancredo?
You know, before they do, I want to inform them that they are smearing a rock solid, top-notch conservative Republican. In fact, I'll post a few ratings for them so that they understand just who it is that they're working to dump his Congressional seat to the Democrats:
- 100% "Best and Brightest" Rating from American Conservative Union (one of only 38 other Congressmen)
- 100% Rating from National Right to Life Committee
- 100% Rating from Conservative Index (Spring '05 - 75% lifetime, tied for second highest rating)
- 100% Rating from Concerned Women for America
- 100% Rating from Christian Coalition
- 100% Rating from Campaign for Working Families
- 100% Rating from FreedomWorks
- 98% Rating from National Tax Limitation Committee (average since 1999)
- 95% "Taxpayer Hero" Rating from Citizens Against Government Waste
- 95% Rating from Americans for Tax Reform
- 95% Rating from Christian Action Network)/li>
- 93% Rating from Eagle Forum (tied for second highest rating)
- 0% Rating from National Education Association
- 0% Rating from National Organization for Women
- 0% Rating from Brady Campaign
- 0% Rating from People for the American Way
- 0% Rating from Planned Parenthood
- 0% Rating from Pro-Choice America

We will all be watching and waiting to see if the President follows through on his pledge to enforce the law. We'll be watching for Tancredo to procure funding for this.

reminds me of the philosophy of gun control: Teenagers are roaring through town at 90 MPH, where the speed limit is 25. Your solution is to lower the speed limit to 20.

But if the President thinks by taking one step forward with enforcement the House will follow him two steps backwards with amnesty, hes confusing us with the Senate. The American people understand that blanket amnesty is not a pre-requisite for border security. Well Tom good luck. The American people are behind you all the way.
