In the Organ Mountains, above Wite Sands National Monument, there exists a Magic Tree.
This is not a normal tree - no, it is something very special. I think it was put there, to tell us something.
If you go to see it, in the high desert, go early in the morning.
You will see a two-hundred foot pine, standing in a cleft in the mountains.
It is a magic tree.
How can this tree exist, in the desert? It is a harsh environment - the temperature was 108 degrees today, no rain. But I held my little daughter, and pointed her to the Magic Tree.
It is there.
Miles away, up in the clouds.
Between us and it, ten miles of cactus, rattlesnakes, and dried rock. A pretty hostile world.
And then, there is the Magic Tree.
It is only visable in the morning - in the morning, it is lit by a ray of sun, like something from an old movie - G_D shining his light on the good guys. It is an awesome sight.
One of those momments, when you want to pray - to thank G_D for all his works.
Awestruck.
In the afternoon, the sun goes over the mountain, and the tree dissapears.
A two-hundred foot pine just dissapears. You cannot see it.
In its place, is a cross.
A simple cross.
That tree is magic.
Well...OK.
Got pictures?
Is that in the Chronicles?
beautiful story babe! you would have been so proud
as lil miss kelly ran right up to her prek teacher
to tell her all about the magic tree her daddy showed
her and decribe in full detail exactly why it's magic.
no pics of the tree, no pics allowed there.
still have to download the rest of the pics taken.
