It isn't realistic to think that this case is going to convince blacks who would have voted Republican to now vote rat. If they are persuaded by Republican Party principles, they would not be the kind of people who are persuaded by the Mike Nifongs of this world.

I agree and the Dims dont orgainize something like this by a DA who has never won election. This has much more to do with Nifong's background, his wife's background, his reelection needs, his lack of mental capacity, his lack of ethics etc than any national worries.
