Lobbyists represent a whole lot of cross sections including prolifers and gun owners. Without lobbyists we have no voice. Bad idea.
Well, you'd also have to cut that clause out of the First Amendment that allows people to petition the government.
The solution to lobbying abuses is not to eliminate lobbyists. It is to hold elected officials accountable, because the lobbyist has no power unless the official is willing to be corrupted.
