I only know of him from the MacDonald case, but from what I've seen he's a very impressive guy.
I've always thought that if Wade Smith had been the lead attorney on that case (instead of Bernie Segal), MacDonald might have gotten off. But then, I always believed MacDonald was guilty as sin, so I'm glad he wasn't acquitted.
If only he hadn't worked with John Edwards, I could really like him!
But he is quite a formidable guy; I might drive over to Durham to watch him wipe the floor with Nifong.
