The saga continues in the Bronx this week. The Sox send out Beckett, Wakefield and Schilling. The Yankees counter with Randy Johnson, Mike Mussina and Shawn Chacon.
The New York Post ran a back cover story questioning why anyone has not dared to throw at David Ortiz.. (maybe because he is 6' 4" and weighs 250 lbs) Sox offseason pickup Josh Beckett returns to Yankee Stadium for the first time since Game 6 of the 2003 World Series.
Series returns to NY after an abbreviated series last week in Boston where Boston fans expressed their true feelings about Johnny Damon.

Gonzo Gonzalez!!!!
He's been doing much better as of late. Working counts, taking pitches, getting on base and getting some hits. a .250 average and 12 errors at the SS position would be just fine.

11-3... There is something familiar about that score.

Oh, of course! I usually check that site daily... I'm gettin' behind, I guess.
Just curious... is there a site like 'Dirt Dogs' for the Yankees that you know of?

Look at all the empty seats behind home plate! That's something you
rarely see at Fenway during a comparable game. Most of the Fenway Faithful stay 'til the bitter end, whether the Red Sox are winning or losing, no matter how late the game goes and no matter how bad the weather is.
We've been to Yankee Stadium several times over the years for Red Sox-Yankees games (it's easier to get tix for these games at Yankee Stadium vs Fenway). When the Yanks lose at home to the Red Sox, the Yankee fans get REALLY nasty. That's been our experience there, anyway...
