McMartin was an acquittal.
Also, David Westerfield was caught because Danielle VanDam's blood was on his jacket, and other fiber evidence.
If he was driven around without water for 19 hours it didn't bother him, because he never confessed, and to this day claims he is innocent. BTW..DW was a rich inventor, he knew his rights.
There is a difference between an adult being squeezed for information by police and a child being squeezed .
No matter who it is, I want police/prosecutors to stay within the bounds of the law and ethics.

Westerfield's attorney was in the process of negotiating a guilty plea in exchange for a life sentence if he told the cops the location of the body. Prosecutor backed out when they found the body Danielle's body prior to making the deal.
