I wouldn't take bets on that. It all depends on the judge. My older brother, the Federal District Judge, says changes of venue are rare rare rare. But if this case doesn't merit a change of venue then they might as well take that law off the books. And there's no guarantee that the jurors in the new venue will be more capable of analytical thought than those in the Durham jury pool. Any place in North Carolina would be better than Durham. Perhaps not by much, but still better.
