I wish it were as clear as that; it's not. She can change her mind, 40 years from now and call it rape. If she changes her mind within the DNA-test sample period; regardless of how "informed the consent was" even in writing, she can still charge him with Rape. That's the fact.
In the 90s a number of men found themselves horribly placed in courts? How? The "consenting" female offered to get rid of the used condom but instead placed it in her purse.
I had a friend in high school. He was the biggest guy at our school, athletically speaking. He as a gentle giant though. He was AA and had a huge crush on me, and i knew it, but he knew the feeling wasn't mutual, so he told people he was my body guard. He never tried to come on to me, was very polite and respective of women. He received a full scholarship the NCCU. Toward the end of his freshman year, he broke up with a girl he met there. Out of stupidity, I guess, he began dating her roommate on the sly. One day the ex came into the room and caught them in bed, and the girl starting screaming rape.
He spent 7 years in jail, even after defense attys showed the 2 had been dating.
To this day, I know he was innocent but he life was ruined!
