The people in the media that you'd think would say, how can you indict when this woman has so many problems and is all over the place. The people that would say.. this isn't how it's done any other time..

They seem to be (IMO) walking on eggshells because the Politically correct pressure says She should be believed, regardless of the evidence, because she is black & the accused are White men, and she is a rape victim. Remember someone that CLAIMS rape is automatically assigned special privileges.

Great Van Susteren is one such person (IMO). She'd be calling for investigations of Nifong if this case didn't have these racial elements. She'd be leading her program every night with this story rich with legal strategy. But, she covers it much less than H&C and she acts like she's running a Presidential Debate when discussing this case (like she has to be totally neutral).

As to why the Media doesn't have any interest in covering this story as a miscarriage of justice by Nifong. This is what Geraldo Rivera said about the coverage of the O.J. Simpson case:

"Rivera says the Simpson trial gave him a "springboard" to address issues such as affirmative action, immigration and black motorists who are shot by white police officers. But regardless of the SOCIAL MERIT to be found in the case, he says, the media should stop worrying about giving the case so much coverage."

SOCIAL MERIT! There you go, there's SOCIAL MERIT in this case. We've already heard many, including Lis Wiehl on Fox, saying even if the charges are NOT true, America needs to be having this discussion. Translation: even if these guys didn't do it, there's a lot of White men out there like that.

Greta is usually a person who questions the police and the state during high profile cases.

Newspapers are in decline, even FNC is not anywhere near the local news in ratings, in most areas.
Local news is usually more middle of the road in their coverage of everything, and that is a good thing.

I know it's aggrevating, but honestly nobody is watching people like Nancy Grace on that stepchild CNN channel.

Just like the presidential election...we had a constant nonstop attack on Bush...but, it didn't work.
In this case, outside of Durham, people who know the facts know the truth.
Also, regardless of what the Gallup poll showed, every prosecutor will tell you women jurors are more skeptical of rape victims than men, maybe they just did not want to tell the pollster that.
