Parents: Do NOT, in this day and age, allow your minor children to go to sleepovers. They are the cause of much juvenile crime, molestation, introduction to sex, drugs, and alcohol, and in this case, a prelude to murder.

I don't know about that. We host sleep overs for our 11 year old and his friends fairly frequently. We are in the habit of insisting that when our son spends the night at his friends house that his parents refrain from heroin use.

Fortunately for us neither of the 2 families we do allow him to spend the night with are junkies, which is nice.

Who was at the house when she picked up the boys? Who was responsible for the boys?

Unusual for a 10 year old and a 13 year old to be that friendly.

Very sad!

There is nothing wrong with adult supervised sleepovers.

This story doesnt give near enough information. If my child wanted to stay over with another boy his age and I didnt know the parents and their proclivities against drugs he simply wouldnt go.

It is imperative that parents keep watch on their kids and who they associate with.
