Well, first the autopsy was brought back to Bay County, in violation of state law. It should have occurred in Escambia County where Martin died. The first autopsy was a joke, blaming the death on sickle cell trait. The coroner has mad several very embarrassing mistakes in the past.
Next, Guy Tunnell, the head of FDLE and former Bay County Sheriff (founder of the boot camp in question), emailed his good friend, Sheriff Frank McKiethen (Tunnell's good buddy) in support of him.
Further, the district attorney, Steve Meadows, "lost" several emails concerning the case. The hard drive on his computer has been seized to see if the emails can be retrieved.
Guy Tunnell was forced to resign over comments he made about the case.
The kid died in the state's care. There has been a series of suspicious activity...and finally, Jeb Bush has had enough and plans to get to the bottom of the shenanigans. To me, it looks like a conspiracy. ..but hey, we'll find out soon enough.

I'm not familiar with all (or any) of the facts of the case. I did see the video, but I would give the guards the benefit of the doubt in this case. (the sickle cell thing was bizarre.)

Tunnell resigned because he called Barak Obama "osama bin laden" and he called some other guy a name.
