BTW, isn't "prince consort" the regal term for boy-toy? With Henrik at 72, Queen Margrethe is really outta the loop, isn't she? Oh, nevermind, Philip's even older....

Consorts are always spouses as far as I know. the term just means the person has no governing or ceremonial powers.
