About 4 times as much as we were told it would cost. When Bush's economic advisor - forget his name - predicted it would cost $60 billion, he suddenly discovered that he wanted to pursue "other interests" and his job opened up. Like so much else about this war, the official cost estimates were wrong-headed, if not outgright deceptions.
