After the sinking of the Lusitania, House did see the Germans as a threat to democracy and encourage Wilson to take the side of England.You mean the British-registered Lusitania that had munitions aboard, and which Germany had tried to warn Americans in American newspaper advertisements not to sail on?
So what exactly does that have to do with "democracy"?

I am not saying House is a great guy. Many or most of his ideas were quite stupid.
I am saying he was not a Marxist, as claimed by the stupid article.
