Hawk was respected in the Houston underground rap scene and appeared on numerous mixtapes from artists such as Paul Wall, Lil' Flip, Z-Ro, E.S.G, Lil' Keke and Big Pokey. ROTFLOL. What bunch of silly names!!! Lil' Flip... sheesh. I always get a huge laugh out of people who feel the need to give themselves names like Lil Keke, Big Pokey, or New Cruelt... oh.. er... um... never mind.

Come on folks. He was set up by the "friend." That's how this s#*+& goes down.
Tough on a pimp these days, bro. You got your babie's mamas, all over town, harrasin' you for some green. You got other rappers who are jealous of your success (top 45 CD!) tryin' to bust a cap in you. And never forget you gots WHITEY messin' wit your money and your life, tryin' to keep you down.
And on top o' that, you got old man Bush goin around hatin' on black people!! What's a rapper to do, yo?

How many Jazz artists are shot in a year? How many Swing band leaders? How many Rock and Rollers? How many Vocalists? Combined?

"Rapper Shot to Death" is not news.
"Rapper Dies of Old Age Surrounded by Friends and Family Menbers" Now that would be news!

This is the story of man named Hawk
A poor lil' rapper than can no longer squawk
He went around singin' screwed music sounds
But now he's singin' from deep in the grounds
Down below, stiff as a board, more holes than swiss cheese...
To: WestTexasWend
DJ Screw, who died in 2000, and the Screwed Up Click popularized Houston's hypnotic, slowed-down style of rap called screw music. Nope. Uh-uh! Not gonna touch it.

Of course, they're all still alive and sharing a big mansion with Tupak.

I admit I'm not a fan of rap music, but I don't celebrate someone being murdered. How tragic for the mother to have lost two sons.
