It will be a joy to see what Osborn does to Nifong et alI think Nifong is in over his head. That being said, if there isn't a venue change, I hope they allow cameras in the courtroom so the evidence will be heard outside of Durham. I'm very afraid it won't matter what the evidence is if it's a Durham jury.

Why a jury trial? In Ohio, and most jurisdictions, you can waive your right to jury trial and proceed with the Judge as trier of fact. In cases where the defense feels the client is innocent, this is very common. So I ask the North Carolinians amongst us, can you waive jury in NC?
If so these fears of a runaway jury of lynch mob mentality Durhamites is not a concern.

Camera's in the courtroom is a great idea for this case, NF01! I'm not sure on this but this could be the first time CourtTV would showcase a trial in which the Defendants were really NOT GUILTY. Good discussion case. Good civics lesson for everyone if this were to happen...
