Very interesting document there, where the police question the credibility of the DA's witness. Whomever wrote it might end up a defense hostile witeness?

BTW, to show you and everyone how outrageous the IDs were, I read a Rex Stout, ie Nero Wolfe, novel over the weekend, "The Golden Spiders." In the concluding chapter Wolfe brings in various suspects to have a witness ID the muderer and in every other chair is a plain clothes police officer. THE COPYRIGHT ON THE NOVEL IS 1953. Yes Nifong's weak strategy to get an ID was know to crime novelist as bad proceedure 53 years ago. Durham certainly should know better than to elect someone that pathetic.
