Has anyone noticed that Cal Thomas looks strange lately with his dyed black hair and apparent face lift and/or Botox?
He used to look like a distinguished older gentleman.
I don't think he's had botox...he's just shaved his mustache.
Bar(ber)-Tox?
I've only shaved mine once in about 25 years. I started trimming and found that the Adolph Hitler look didn't look good on me so I shaved it off. I've never done it again.
Vanity, vanity. Will he get Jolie-Lips next?
What gets me is that new fashion--the Upside-Down-Hitler look, where the tiny moustache is right under the lower lip. It's so distracting, like a shadow or leftover food.
I think he's become a real vitamin freak the last few months. Maybe the B vitamins are kicking in now
He was drafted by the Lions...
I don't care about his changed appearance. So what! I do care that his greatest passion seems to be bashing Christians. He used to be a fine representative of conservative ideas. Now he's gone all flip-floppy on us. When is he due to retire?
LOL...mine's been on for 25 years, my wife's never seen me without it and now I'm scared that if I shaved it off I'd look as silly as Cal Thomas does.
A group I work with paid him $7500 to give a banquet speech regarding Christian activism. Then two years later, he says Christian should NOT be active.
I told them they should ask for their money back.
Is he going Wayne Newton on us?
Oh, man! I think he looks a lot better without that moustache.
It never ceases to amaze me how Freepers can come up with an appropriate graphic in moments.
That is called a "soul patch," among other terms best left off a family site. :-)
He looks like the guy who did all the "YYYYEEESSSS???" parts in 70s sitcoms.
The guy on Napa Style has one. It makes me Patsa.
"It's so distracting, like a shadow or leftover food."
Agreed, I hate those. I think they are called "soul patches", but that might be some other new weirdo mustache/beard style.
The one look I can never understand is the little skinny little beard right on the jaw line. Can't see having a beard and still having to shave every day!
Some guys think that they slim the face--you see them a lot on chubbies. And a lush moustache can help the look of someone with a big beak. But--in general, I don't like face-hair. So many guys just scratch and piddle with it. Makes the onlooker feel itchy.
