Stiller is a "One-note" actor. When you have seen one of his movies, you've seen them all. I will also express my disgust with ALL the re-makes of old movies and washed up tv shows.

I'm not so sure about that. Stiller was hilarious in Zoolander.
I've seen them all and I thoroughly enjoy them. I especially liked Stiller's early sketch comedy show that was unforunately cancelled.
I will join you in that disgust.
And now I hear they are going to remake Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House
Unconscionable.
I wonder who'll play Lila Kolodny (the jilted wife in the original). I saw a comment on IMDB that's very accurate; today's young actresses don't want to look anything but glamorous and dignified on screen. Lila had to sing out of tune, chew egg salad and get it on her face, eat a candy bar in bed, and get sunburned. Jeanne Berlin was very pretty, but she had to be able to be convincingly upstaged by Cybill Shepherd. Who would be up to that part?
Leave beauty and perfection alone.
