I wonder where AV's mother works?

I don't know what the mother does. I don't recall it reported. The father is either a retired truck driver or car mechanic, (both reported). Now he "tinkers" on cars.

The alleged victim's mother told Eyewitness News that she expected a "no match" in the DNA results. She says her daughter's attackers wore condoms.
