November 1979. The Communist Workers Party (CWP) of Durham (!) had scheduled a protest march in Greensboro that ended up in a shootout with a KKK/Nazi group.

There was a trial of some of the KKK/Nazi people. The official verdict was "not guilty" all around possibly due to someone with the CWP firing first. The unofficial verdict was the KKK/Nazis were better marksmen than the CWP.

IMO Wikipedia is a little too sympathetic to the commies

Okay, that's not funny. Why am I laughing? Seriously, how many people lost their lives in the melee?
