I think you said yesterday that you use Eudora. Is there a spell checker for Eudora similar to the checker here on FR with a drop down box?
I'm using Firefox on Apple 10.3.9

Yes, Eudora has a spell checker that's triggerable via a drop down menu or key strokes. It typically functions (selectable, I think) automatically underlining in red wrong words as you type.
